Additions Direct began life in 1999 as Argos Additions, which was an off-shoot from the main Argos
catalogue brand. Argos Additions was initially trialled in August, in 27 Argos stores, instead of interiors and sports direct specialogues. The original emphasis of the product offer was on clothing, in particular branded sports clothing from the likes of Nike and Adidas.
Argos continued to develop and promote the ‘Additions’ brand, but restructuring in 2004 resulted in the brand being sold off to the Shop Direct Group, which has since renamed it as Additions Direct. These days, as well as clothing, Additions Direct offers a wide variety of products for the home.

Standard next day delivery is £3.95, as is delivery for a specified weekday. Saturday deliveries are charged at £6.95. However, the delivery of some larger items is charged at £5.95. Returns are also free within a 14 day approval period.
