Daxon has been serving customers for over sixty years, having been founded back in 1947. The company began life in France as Movitex, manufacturing underwear with triboelectric properties, primarily for the elderly. The first steps into mail order were taken in 1951, using the Thermovitex brand.
The first Daxon
catalogue was distributed in 1974, but the brand did not appear in these shores until 1997. The brand is one of many that is owned and operated by the Redcats group. By 2001 goods were sold online for the first time using the Daxon brand.
Today, the brand still targets the 50+ age group, but is able to offer a much wider variety of products than in the earlier years of development for the company.

Daxon specialise in women’s fashions for the 50+ age group, but also sell menswear as well as a variety of items for the home and garden. A range of wellbeing items, again aimed at the seniors market, is also available to help make life easier.
Daxon has a Sale section, which as well as containing the latest offers and items with reduced prices, also has a regular bargain basement section, containing limited stocks of products with further reductions.
Delivery costs £2.45, regardless of the size of the order, and takes between five and ten days. Daxon also offers a policy of fourteen days home approval on purchases.
"I have been a customer for many years, and Daxon always sell top quality goods that are long-lasting. They can sometimes be slightly more expensive than the shops, but you can budget better when you need to buy something and then pay it back in smaller chunks each month."
