Littlewoods mail order was established in 1932, on the back of the success that founder Sir John Moores had with his football pools business. The Littlewoods
catalogue was one of the dominant catalogues in the UK mail order business for much of the 20th Century, and has also had an online presence since 2000. After many decades under the ownership of the Moores family, the Littlewoods business was sold on to the Barclay Brothers in 2003, and all Littlewoods' brands, including Very, are now part of the Shop Direct Group.
Very is the new name for Littlewoods Direct, and is run as a separate brand to the main Littlewoods
catalogue. Very is slightly different to many of its competitors, as instead of relying on 1000+ page catalogues, smaller directories are issued four times each year as guides to online shopping.

As you would expect, Very is home to vast array of products including clothing, gifts and everything you would need for your home.
Very is intended as a very different shopping experience, and the Network section provides additional information, such as product ratings and reviews.
Standard delivery is £3.95, but with an option to pay extra for deliveries at specific slots up to eight days in the future (including Saturdays.) Most purchases are entitled to 14 day home approval, and returns within this period are free.
